JLGreensboro Giving Day

About

The Junior League of Greensboro’s Annual Giving Day will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. Giving Day is an annual giving campaign that helps the League create lasting community impact. We hope you will donate to support the mission of the Junior League of Greensboro to promote voluntarism, develop the potential of women, and improve our community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

Why Donate?

We are an organization that develops women leaders to create lasting community impact. Annual fundraising is one way we train civic leaders and effect community change. While we study the needs of Greensboro and anticipate our role in transforming the community, we continue to raise money to ensure vital funding is available to fulfill our mission for years to come.

During this current League year, the JLG is supporting Community Housing Solutions, Backpack Beginnings, Kellin Kids, and Kids in the Kitchen. Throughout our many years, we have been integral in founding many impactful projects and organizations including the Greensboro Children’s Museum, Greensboro Science Center, and Greensboro History Museum. These endeavors were made possible in part by your donations.

Over our 96-year history, the JLG has contributed $3.5 million to the Greensboro community and has provided countless women with the opportunity to develop and hone their leadership skills. Your donation will support this continued mission.

This year we hope to raise $20,000 to fulfill our mission of promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving our community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. With your help, we can continue to create lasting community impact.

How can you help us meet our $20,000 goal?!
