Junior League Family –

With heavy hearts we share that one of our past Junior League members, Dale Caldwell, passed away on July 6, 2020. Dale was featured on the cooking show What’s Cooking Today and helped compile the award-winning Junior League Cookbook Out of Our League. The Junior League cookbook, Out of Our League, was originally published in 1978. Selling over 200,000 copies, Southern Living included it in the 1998 “Southern Living Cookbook Hall of Fame”.

Dale was survived by her husband of nearly 55 years, 3 children and 6 grandchildren. A memorial service for the family was held on July 10, 2020 at First Baptist Church’s outdoor sanctuary.
