Project Proposal Guidelines
1. Requesting agencies must complete The Project Proposal Request Form.
2. Applications are due October 31, 2009.
3. Requests must be accompanied by the organization's latest audited financial statement, current budget, proof of non-profit status, and documentation of other sources of funding.
4. Eligibility is based on non-profit status and the existence of the agency in (and serving) the Greensboro community for at least two years.
5. The Junior League of Greensboro, North Carolina Inc. does not consider funding for individual's projects, religious projects, travel expenses, capital campaigns, salaries, insurance, fundraising, tuition/scholarships, government entities and political activities.
6. Organizations receiving funding agree to document expenses for grant monies and volunteer time in the form of two bi-annual reports, submitted to the Junior League in December and April.
7. All requests must fit within the mission of the Junior League of Greensboro, Inc. "The Junior League of Greensboro, North Carolina, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively education and charitable."
